Elicia Jones

Elicia has been involved with Sporting Marvels since she was part of the Mighty Marvels Pro­gramme in year 6 in YGG Ynyswen, being taught by Smithy. From there Elicia became one of the first famous names in the YGCR All-Star Programme bag­ging ‘Leader of the Year’ in 2017/18, due to her sheer energy & role modelling to the younger All-Stars. A keen netballer, Liss has been involved with Rhondda Netball, Wales’ largest female sports participation initiative, for the past 3 years and has excelled within her role. More recently Liss has begun to take on more responsibility within Rhondda Netball by becoming the Head Coach of Ferndale Rascals as well as being appointed Head Coach of the RCT Rockets U9 squad due to her heart & passion for the girls she coaches. She’s motivated and hard-work­ing and has fitted into the team perfectly. In 2020, Liss will embark on her first full-time year with us at Sporting Marvels and will work mainly in the primary schools alongside Naomi and the rest of the Mighty Marvels team.
