Connah Evans

Connah is a former pupil and All-Star of Ysgol Nantgwyn, formally known as Tonypandy Commu­nity College, and began as an All-Star in year 7. A natural working with young children, Connah has previous experience volunteering with Valleys Kids, helping with the Play Scheme during the school hol­idays. From the age of 5, Connah played football for Penygraig Boys and Girls Club, and in his early teens for Cambrian and Clydach Boys and Girls Club where he had two successful seasons. After this Connah decided that Rugby was the sport for him and has played senior rugby with Penygraig RFC and Ystrad Rhondda RFC. Connah is a very organ­ised, competent, com­mitted and hard-work­ing individual. He is a great role model to the younger children, with boys looking up to Con­nah as they see his fun and caring personality. A hit with the teachers, Connah is an excellent addition to the staffroom wherever he goes - his personable, relatable, and down-to-earth character makes everyone welcome Connah back.
