Kieran Garland

Kieran is a former pupil of Ysgol Nantgwyn, for­merly known as Tonypandy Community College, and he was one of Smithy’s most committed All-Stars having been in the programme from Year 7 until leaving school. He even bagged himself ‘Leader of the Year’ in 2017/18 and 2018/19, due to him becom­ing a great role model for the younger All-Stars due to his sheer heart and enthusiasm. These awards singled him out to be a potential future Marvel for sure! A brilliant swimmer, Kieran has been involved with swim­ming from a young age where he first gained his passion at Rhondda Swim­ming Club. From then because of his ability he moved on to the RCT performance swim squad and was even able to qualify for Welsh Nationals during his time there! In 2020, Kieran em­barks on his second year with us at Sporting Mar­vels and will work mainly in the primary schools alongside Naomi and the rest of the Mighty Marvels team.
