 It was the last weekend of March when Sporting Marvels reached yet another pioneering moment.  

Praise God that in the last few weeks three more local churches have made the decision to become full church partners with Sporting Marvels and the prayer vision.  

Recent weeks have seen significant progress for Sporting Marvels as God has raised up the second community development officer and open the door at the second of Rhondda’s six senior schools.  

Yes, for those of you who think everything means something (Phil!!), the sixty-fifth “In Pursuit of Revival” meeting attracted the highest number of attendees to date. 65 to be exact!! 

From start to finish, Friday, 9th January, was a significant day for Sporting Marvels.

The latest Sporting Marvels worker - worker no.4 - has arrived in Wales! Elroy Duckitt from Cape Town South Africa will take up his full-time post at Ferndale Community School with effect from Monday, 18th October.

Our charity status is through! After a long haul, Sporting Marvels has recently had confirmation from the UK Charities Commission that our charitable application has been successful.

It’s official; Ugo really is on his way!! His visa application appeal was successful and hopefully, he’ll be here early in the new year ready to take up his post as our first church worker - based full-time at Providence Church, Ystrad!
