Grant Adams

Hiya everyone.......My name’s Grant Adams and I’m from South Africa.

I am one of 5 children and had a pretty challenging upbringing......but   all my experiences in the past, whether good or bad, contributed to the person I am today.

I joined Sporting Marvels in 2009 and my life has changed so much since then!! 

When I started, I worked in the Comp but now I’m loving every minute of being a Mighty Marvels worker in the primary schools. You kids are awesome!! 

I really love what I do and the whole experience has been amazing and life-changing. Sporting Marvels continuously challenges me to be the best I can be, so that I can challenge you kids to be the best that you can be.

A few years ago, I could never have imagined that I’d be living in the Rhondda Valleys, teaching kids and influencing so many young lives. But as you’ll know if you’re in any of my classes: with God, nothing is impossible!  And you know what?  ......If I can rise up and triumph over circumstances, you can too.

I’ve always loved my rugby, whether watching or playing, and in my life before Sporting Marvels, I’ve been a soldier in the South African Army......a sports coach in a Deaf School and......a student, studying theology at university.  

But here I am, just a few short years later a Marvel in Rhondda......married to the lovely Chloe, a Rhondda girl, and we now have a beautiful baby daughter.  God is good!!
